First Nations Oweesta Corporation is a national Native organization, presently spearheading the efforts of the Coalition and acting as its fiscal agent.  Oweesta is responsible for assisting with the continued development of this web site and the formulation of a strong Native Financial Education Coalition and presently has staff active with the Coalition’s efforts.

As a certified Native CDFI intermediary, Oweesta’s mission is to provide opportunities for Native people to develop assets and create wealth by assisting in the establishment of strong, permanent institutions and programs, contributing to economic independence and strengthening sovereignty for all Native communities.
