Neckar-Fils Eishockey Cup
The hobby/alumni league was founded in 2022 by initiators Dominik Börner, Oliver Buchwald, and Thomas Haun to offer the full range of hobby ice hockey players in the Neckar-Fils region a sporting perspective matched to their level of skill.
A structured league operation was already established from the founding season 2022/2023 onward. Many volunteer helpers and contributors made this possible, from the division representatives to the timekeepers to the referees.
Fairness and skill-appropriate competition are ensured by dividing the teams into different conferences and divisions, along with the divisions' own self-management and self-oversight.
Thanks go to everyone involved and responsible in their various roles, as well as to the participating teams who make each new season possible - and especially to the founders/initiators, without whom the NFEC would not exist.
Preamble
In this hobby/alumni league, with its two conferences and four divisions, we want to
- treat each other as equals and with respect,
- enjoy our sport and the community around it,
- be grouped into teams and divisions fairly / comparably by skill level,
- compete ambitiously at our own level, but always fairly,
- do so without hurting one another, and never causing injury.
